🔥 How to Apply Your Iron-On Hat Patch

Works on most cotton, canvas, and poly-cotton hats.

What You Need:

• Iron or heat press

• Pressing cloth (thin towel or parchment paper)

• Flat surface

• Your hat + patch

⭐ Iron Instructions (Most Common for Hats)

1. Preheat the Iron
   Set to 325–350°F (Cotton setting) with no steam.

2. Position the Patch
   Place the patch exactly where you want it on the hat.
   Use heat tape if needed to keep it in place.

3. Protect the Patch
   Lay a thin cloth, pressing pillow, or parchment paper on top of the patch.

4. Apply Heat
   Press the iron down firmly for 20–30 seconds.
   Do not move the iron around—keep steady pressure.

5. Flip & Press Inside
   Flip the hat inside out if possible and press the backside for 15–20 seconds to secure the adhesive.

6. Let It Cool
   Allow patch to cool completely before handling.
   Cooling activates the adhesive bond.

⭐ Heat Press Instructions

1. Set press to 325–330°F, medium pressure.

2. Cover patch with parchment or Teflon sheet.

3. Press for 15–20 seconds.

4. Flip hat (if possible) and press inside for 10 seconds.

5. Cool completely before wearing.

📌 Optional but Recommended:

For hats with heavy curvature or high-use items, add a quick stitch around the edge for extra security.
